The collection includes: correspondence, clippings, testimonials from the Delta Upsilon Club; certificate of appreciation and remembrance from the Malverne, NY, School Districts, 1945, to Marsh M. Cobitt; record of activities of Willis G. Corbitt; gift receipt, 1955, for model built by Seth L. Pope of the ship Alert, given to the Oregon Historical Society; a notebook of writings belonging to C. Addie Mitchell, undated; and certificate of recognition of contributions of William Luen Abrams by the National Association of Credit Men, 1908. Also includes sixteen diaries of Sarah Levina (Phelps) Abrams (d. 1909), the widow of Oregon pioneer William Penn Abrams and close friend of Seth Luen Pope. Diaries detail weather, trips, correspondence, visitors, deaths, marriages, and events in Portland, Oregon and a trip to Pend Oreille Lake, Idaho.

Marsh M. Corbitt was born around 1891 in Iowa. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1917, served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, worked for U.S. Steel Corp., served as president of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and the International Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Seth Luen Pope was a descendant of early English settlers in the area of Fairhaven, Massachusetts. His father, Seth Pope (1803-1886), was a ship captain who sailed to Oregon in 1850 and settled in St. Helens. His mother was Mary Henwood Pope (1811-1842), a native of East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, England.
